It is with regret that I must inform our community, that the development of the Vibez platform has been temporarily paused. Significant challenges have arisen, relating to copyright and music licensing issues, challenges that I had not anticipated. After extensive thought, we have determined that the current model may be too influenceable to copyright concerns, which has led to a temporary shutdown.
Currently, we are exploring alternative solutions, including a potential pivot to a YouTube-style platform. This platform would offer enhanced tools for creators, but more specifically, this platform would be addressing the copyright and licensing issues, in that way fixing the major current issues. Our core mission to empower creators remains of utmost importance, but it is critical that we build the platform legally.
